Those pagan rituals had a purpose of foretelling the future or explaining what was beyond comprehension. With time that process became more complicated and involved also interpreting the patterns of the objects lying on the ground. The next step in the evolution of these rituals included the sacrifices from the participants to encourage the Fate or the Gods to deliver positive signs and help.
The sacrifices were first personal stakes which turned those involved from mere observers into active players of the process. They gambled their stakes on the outcome that depended on Chance only. Eventually the same type of chance-based procedures expanded into every day life. Gambling grew out of religious rituals into a separate activity, which helped with decision making process like who will get a better piece of a killed prey or get himself a better looking woman.
The final step in that evolution toward pure gambling happened when people decided to gamble with their stakes for material gain only. This evolutionary point of view on gambling origins is accepted by modern history and anthropology. Ancient explanations credited Gods and mythological heroes with the invention of gambling.

Archeological extracts and historians both strongly insist about the existence of gambling events carried out by predecessors. Almost all the civilizations throughout the world have separately revealed the practicing of gambling acts within their community.
Our forefathers were proven enthusiasts in playing luck games based on dices or cards. Their obsession for gambling was such that they are believed to have risked a considerable amount of their wealth only for the sake of enjoying gamble. At times when they lost their entire riches the landlords and the kings would risk their lands and kingdoms on the boards of gamble. And when even this was not enough they are also supposed to have betted themselves or any other family member at the roll of a dice.
Fate has ruled a man's destiny since time immemorial and more so when a person is indulged in gambling. While the wealthy were supposed to play gambles with massive fortunes at stake even the middle and the lowly were not left behind they would indulge with whatever they could manage for the game. With them there was also a secret lust to gain some easy riches.
Desire to be wealthy in one shot is a theory ruling all the gambling centers worldwide. None will contradict that there is an innermost desire in all individuals to be rich overnight.
Gambling had also been a very popular entertainment activity for our ancestors. Extracts of dices and other objects that are somewhat like the modern day cards were excavated and this pointed towards gambling being practiced in as early as 14th century. The main countries where gambling was popular were Egypt, China, India and Rome. Earlier some of the rulers and kings had put a ban on gambling activities but later when they relieved this imposition people flocked at a common place to gamble and also some other events related to business or pleasure drinks were offered at those spots.
My bday is November 2nd, and last year I went to Vegas with my boyfriend and RUINED the 4 day trip by getting wasted on the plane and continuing for the next couple hours that we were there, then passing out for 2 days in recovery mode I felt really bad for my wonderful boyfriend who took me there paid in full to the nicest hotel there Palazzo , and I slet for 2 days while he had to sit in the hotel room and wait for me to wake up.
So now that we both don't drink We've been planning on visiting my mom And I can't stand talking to her, and the thought of being in the same room as her is just a bad thought right now.
She's normally awesome, but the last 3 weeks have sucked talking to her. She's having a hard time dealing with me being pregnant and not her or something wierd She felt amazing through both pregnancies apparently. I however do not. I'm wondering if anyone has gone to vegas while pregnant.
I'm just curious if people will look at me like I'm the devil if I'm pregnant and gambling or something like that. Any suggestions on if I should try to do Vegas right with my man, or try to tame the beast that is my mother?
